The Telegraph has two interesting galleries of photos for their travel section.  One is called 20 ridiculous complaints made by holidaymakers while the other is 20 stupid questions asked by tourists.  Not to be outdone, the readers of the Telegraph have also sent in some of their own experiences.  A sampling of all three are below.

“On my holiday to Goa in India, I was disgusted to find that almost every restaurant served curry. I don’t like spicy food at all.”

“We bought ‘Ray-Ban’ sunglasses for five euros (£3.50) from a street trader, only to find out they were fake.”

“Are there any lakes in the Lake District?”

“Why on earth did they build Windsor Castle on the flight path of Heathrow?”

“Is Wales closed during the winter?”

“Are there supermarkets in Sydney and is milk available all year round?”

“I want to walk from Perth to Sydney – can I follow the railroad tracks?”

“The disappointment telling the children that the reindeer could not fly was incredible…you must state this clearly in your brochure in future”

An American lady tourist visiting the amphitheatre at Epheseus, Turkey, said: “If this had been built in America they would have put an elevator in.”
