Stop Worrying About Your Kids

Kids are just as safe as they were in the 1970s, but we have created such a culture of fear that most parents can’t even comprehend sending their kid across the street without help, yet alone all the way across town.
A prime example is Lenore Skenazy, who let her kid ride the subway in NYC alone. You know what? He was fine. And so would scores of other kids if parents would just stop freaking out.
People need to stop being idiots and realize that the world hasn’t really changed in the last 30 years. Teach your kids to be responsible and for adults to stay the hell out of your business and everything will be okay.
