Rantings of a New Yorker

This is a photo of Ty Ziegel and Renee Kline on their wedding day.  Ty, a marine, suffered burns after a suicide attack in Iraq.  You can find the photo here as well as a gallery of photos of the couple before and after his injury.  It was also selected by the World Press Photo as one of the best photos of 2006.  You can read Ty and Renee’s story a the Times Online.  Just make sure you have a box of tissues nearby.
